(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said the shelter-in-place issued for parts of Downtown Colorado Springs on Friday evening, July 3, has been lifted.

The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) has issued a shelter-in-place for parts of Downtown Colorado Springs due to law enforcement activity.

The shelter-in-place was issued on Friday, July 3, a little before 7 p.m. The shelter in place is for the area between East Bijou Street, East Platte Avenue, Westview Place, and North Tejon Street near Acacia Park. CSPD is asking those in the area to secure their business or home, stay away from doors and windows, and shelter in a safe place until further notice.
