District Attorney’s Office rules officer-involved shooting in Colorado Springs justified

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – On Wednesday, Colorado’s 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office announced it had completed its review of an officer-involved shooting in Colorado Springs on February 2, 2026.

Because the case against one defendant remains open, the review released by the DA’s Office is shorter to avoid improperly influencing due process in the case.
