LOMA, Colo. (KJCT) — New information was released Monday night about the deadly crash on Interstate 70 near the Utah-Colorado state line that left one dead and five wounded.
Troopers said that a Subaru Outback was traveling east in the westbound lane when it slammed into a Ford F-150 head-on. The impact sent the Outback down an embankment where it rolled onto the driver’s side and caught fire, and the F-150 was sent into a spin before stopping in the middle of the westbound lanes.
The driver of the outback, a 32-year-old Colorado Springs woman, died immediately. Officials said her name will be released after her next-of-kin are notified…
