SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced important milestones for temples in Colorado and in Mexico.
According to a recent announcement from the Church, they have set a groundbreaking date for the Colorado Springs Colorado Temple. It will be held on September 12, 2026.
The Temple was initially announced in 2023 and, once constructed, will be one of four temples in the state for the Church. The other dedicated temples are the Denver Colorado Temple, the Fort Collins Colorado Temple, and the Grand Junction Colorado Temple.
