TODAY: Temps cool a few degrees to the low 90s in Colorado Springs and high 90s in Pueblo. Showers and a few thunderstorms roll in this afternoon and evening. A few storms could become severe with the potential for isolated instances of flash flooding, large hail, and/or gusty winds.
EXTENDED: Thursday starts a more substantial cooldown to the mid 80s in Colorado Springs and low 90s in Pueblo. The end of the work week brings an increasing in severe storm chances. We keep those elevated storm chances into the weekend with widespread impacts possible. Our main concerns are still flash flooding, hail and gusty winds. By Sunday, temps will have gradually cooled to the low 80s in Colorado Springs and mid 80s in Pueblo.
