COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – UPDATE 3:40 p.m.: Fillmore Street re-opened Monday afternoon, following a crash between a vehicle and a train.
According to Colorado Springs Police, “all indications right now” show that the railroad lights were active and the bell was sounding. A vehicle heading west on Fillmore failed to yield and was struck by the train.
The driver and the passenger in the vehicle were evaluated by a crew from the Colorado Springs Fire Department and were uninjured…
