Storms are expected to form throughout the evening hours, and with ample moisture and upper-level energy overhead, the potential for a severe storm or two will exist. The favored area for severe weather will be across the Eastern Plains, where the Storm Prediction Center has highlighted a Marginal Risk. Heavy rain and thunderstorms, with an isolated flooding threat, will move east overnight.
Temperatures will fall back into the upper 50s and low 60s to the mid 60s across the I-25 corridor to the Eastern Plains, respectively. Temperatures will be slightly cooler on Wednesday, with highs in the mid 80s for Colorado Springs and upper 90s for Pueblo. Chances for thunderstorms will exist across the southeastern portion of the state.
