(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Two people are hospitalized after being hit by a driver who was driving away after crashing into a parked car, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
The Colorado Springs Public Safety Communications Center received 911 calls regarding a hit-and-run traffic crash in the 1200 block of North Chelton Road near Unitah Street.
CSPD said that when officers arrived at the scene, a vehicle had struck a parked vehicle, and when the people who owned the parked vehicle came to confront the driver, the driver left the scene. When the driver drove off, he hit two people in the process…
