EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – Law enforcement issued an emergency alert Saturday morning for a neighborhood north of the Colorado Springs Airport, near Peterson Space Force Base.
The initial alert came out via Peak Alerts at 9:47 a.m. for an area near Peterson Road and Highway 24, near the Space Village Avenue exit.
In that alert, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said they were looking for a man possibly armed with a handgun with an extended magazine. Deputies said he was a person of interest possibly involved in a domestic incident…
