Panelists discuss costs, benefits of Front Range rail tax proposal

Colorado voters in much of the Front Range will decide this November whether to impose a new sales tax intended to help expand passenger rail service from Fort Collins through Denver to Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

The proposal, known as 7A, was discussed during a Wednesday event hosted by the University of Denver’s Scrivner Institute of Public Policy at the Sie complex’s Maglione Hall on the DU campus with nearly 100 in attendance including students.
