Colorado Springs’ ‘best new restaurant’ set to celebrate first year

In case you haven’t heard, a British pub aptly named The Brit Pub stormed into the Colorado Springs cuisine scene last fall, earning gold medals as the ‘best new restaurant’ and ‘best pub’ in the Best of the Springs awards. Come October 24, they’ll be celebrating their first year of business.

October 24 will kick off festivities, including a keg, a Champagne toast, and plenty of great food. The party will continue into the next week, too, with the pub’s regular Tuesday night trivia on October 27 followed by a special Halloween-themed trivia on October 29. In-between, on October 28, The Brit Pub will host their last Bite Club event of the year, this one with a South Asian twist. Then on Friday, the pub will have live piano music, and on Saturday, the pub will celebrate Halloween with all-vinyl DJ Astral Selector. And of course, on Sunday, The Brit Pub will be open for their popular Traditional Sunday Roast, starting at 11 a.m. until it sells out.

Located near Weidner Field, The Brit Pub has seen plenty of success over recent months, including during the recent World Cup games when it was considered a top place to be in Olympic City, USA With a menu that features classics like the Steak & Ale Pie, Bangers & Mash, Fish & Chips, Scotch Eggs, Welsh Rarebit, Sausage Rolls, and more, it’s hard to find a better spot for English food in the Centennial State…
