CSPD searching for identity of suspects who shot at homes

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department responded to a report of shots fired early Sunday, Sept. 15, around 1 a.m., where people were reportedly shooting guns in an open space between homes.

Officers arrived in the area of Heathrow Drive, near Chapel Hills Drive and Briargate Parkway, but were unable to locate any suspects, according to CSPD.

Police found homes in the area that had been hit by gunfire and confirmed no one was injured.

CSPD asks anyone in the 2600 block of Heathrow Drive who finds bullet impacts on their property to call (719) 444-7000 to report it.
