Man who threatened to kill Tesla owners pleads guilty

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A Colorado Springs man who threatened to kill Tesla owners and eventually Tesla CEO Elon Musk has entered a guilty plea on interstate communication of threats charges.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, in March of 2025, emails were sent to various media outlets across state lines. The emails contained a “Declaration of War” against the 47th Presidential Cabinet and describe how Tesla owners would be murdered on April 17, 2025 and the deaths would continue until the death of Elon Musk.
