(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A victim was allegedly carjacked at gunpoint by two suspects in downtown Colorado Springs overnight on Friday, April 17, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
Just after midnight on Friday, near the intersection of Pikes Peak Avenue and Tejon Street, a Peak Station Officer was on patrol when he was flagged down for a motor vehicle theft in progress. When the officer tried to stop the vehicle, a Jeep Grand Cherokee, the driver allegedly eluded him and drove from the area.
