CSPD: Victim escapes home, injured in knife assault

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A victim escaped and called the police after being held against their will and injured by a knife during an assault early Sunday morning, April 19, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).

Police reported that just after midnight on Sunday, officers responded to reports of an assault in the 3600 block of Van Teyligen Drive, near North Carefree Circle and North Academy Boulevard. When they arrived, officers learned that the victim had escaped the home and called 911 from a nearby business.

According to CSPD, officers investigated and found out that the suspect, identified as Nic Alcorn, had met a partner at a nearby club, and they both went to Alcorn’s home, where a fight broke out. The victim was then held against their will at Alcorn’s home and was injured by a knife…
