(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Legendary band Lynyrd Skynyrd is coming to the Ford Amphitheater on Saturday, Sept. 19, with southern rock band 38 Special opening, and tickets go on sale on Friday, May 8.
The band was founded over 50 years ago, and has gone through several incarnations since, but continues to resonate with their multi-generational fanbase with their catalogue of over 60 albums.
The current lineup features Johnny Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke, Damon Johnson, Mark “Sparky” Matejka, Michael Cartellone, Robbie Harrington, Peter Keys, Carol Chase, and Stacy Plunk. The band continues to carry on the legacy of former members, Ronnie Van Zant, Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, Steve Gaines, Ed King, Billy Powell, Bob Burns, Leon Wilkeson, and others who have played with them throughout the years…
