(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Court documents show a man from Colorado Springs is suing retail giant Walmart after he claims he was hospitalized for three days in September 2025, because of a piece of bread.
Jordan Douglas alleges he suffered a gastrointestinal obstruction from eating unbaked take-and-bake bread bought from the Walmart store on Space Center Drive.
He contends that a Walmart “sell by” label obscured the product’s cooking instructions, so he did not realize the bread needed to be baked before being eaten.
