COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – The Department of Defense (DOD) awarded a school district in Colorado Springs a $42.7 million grant to construct a new Douglass Valley K8 School at the Air Force Academy.
The DOD said Thursday that it awarded D20 the grant as the federal share of a larger $54.1 million project to construct the new school.
The DOD said upon completion, 787 students in prekindergarten through eighth grade will be supported through this project…
