(PALMER LAKE, Colo.) — The Palmer Lake Police Department (PLPD) is looking for suspects, possibly teen boys, who have allegedly broken into a town building and caused damage.
According to PLPD, over the last several weeks, police have responded to the main building at 290 Highway 105, near downtown Palmer Lake, and found the building had been broken into. The suspects allegedly caused damage to the building, windows, and the building’s contents.
PLPD said it placed cameras inside the building in response to these crimes, and captured two separate instances in which two different pairs of boys, all appearing to be teens, allegedly broke in and caused damage. Police are investigating the instances of burglary, criminal mischief, and trespassing, and said the crimes may rise to felony level.
