Pikes Peak State College celebrates major milestone with 2,600 graduates

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Pikes Peak State College celebrated a major milestone on Saturday, May 16, with a commencement ceremony held at The Broadmoor World Arena. Approximately 2,600 students from the Class of 2026 earned an impressive 3,500 credentials, including nearly 2,000 associate degrees, 100 bachelor’s degrees, and more than 1,200 certificates.

The event marked a significant achievement for the graduating class, with families, friends, and graduates packing the arena. This ceremony highlights the college’s commitment to education and student success.

Anissa Lujan, a graduate of the Pikes Peak State College paralegal program, formerly earned an English degree from the University of Colorado Boulder. She decided to return to school and enroll in the paralegal program at Pikes Peak, a decision she says helped her discover a brand new passion and career path…
