(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A pedestrian who was hit by a car while in a wheelchair near Powers and Astrozon Boulevards on May 10 has died, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
Officers originally responded to a reported pedestrian-involved crash just before 1 a.m. on Sunday, May 10, at the intersection of Astrozon and Powers. When officers arrived, they learned a wheelchair-bound pedestrian was southbound in the right-hand turn lane of Powers Boulevard when he was hit by a commercial bus.

The man was taken in critical condition to the hospital, where he later died.
