COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Significant flooding last week forced Literacy SC to shut down its Columbia headquarters, pausing critical reading and tutoring services for adults in the Midlands.
Water soaked the nonprofit’s walls and floors during severe weather that moved through the area last Thursday night. Ceiling tiles also fell during the flooding.
