COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – More than 200 people packed a Columbia movie theater to confront a hard truth: solving homelessness will take more than awareness — it will take action.
The City of Columbia posed a question to residents during a community screening of the documentary “Beyond the Bridge: A Solution to Homelessness,” followed by a panel discussion.
“Beyond the Bridge” is a documentary about solutions to homelessness. According to the filmmakers, their team traveled 44,000 miles around the United States researching how the country could solve homelessness in a comprehensive way.
