LEXINGTON, S.C. (WACH) — On Sunday, the Lexington County Democratic Party will bring together 14 Democratic nominees.
The “Meet the Team to Flip the Future” event brings together 14 Democratic nominees running across federal, statewide constitutional and local legislative districts, signaling a unified push to expand voter turnout across the Midlands this November.
The featured speakers include six general election nominees for federal and statewide executive office:
- Zyon Khalifa, Nominee for U.S. House of Representatives (SC-02)
- Jason Belton, Nominee for South Carolina Secretary of State
- Vincent Coe, Nominee for South Carolina State Treasurer
- Sylvia Wright, Nominee for South Carolina Superintendent of Education
- DeShawn Blanding, Nominee for South Carolina Commissioner of Agriculture
- Tiffany Boozer, Nominee for South Carolina Comptroller General
The speakers will also be joined by eight Democratic nominees fighting to represent Midlands communities in the South Carolina House of Representatives:
