South Carolina edge rusher Dylan Stewart was handed a one-game suspension by the SEC on Sunday following Saturday’s 49-18 loss to Alabama. He is also under an indefinite suspension by Gamecocks coach Shane Beamer.
Stewart punched Alabama tight end Josh Ford during the fourth quarter. His punch to the helmet resulted in a personal foul. After the punch, Stewart also had heated arguments with the coaching staff on the sideline while being subbed out.
