Elizabeth Carpenter has been hired as Cayce’s new assistant to the city manager, the city of Cayce announced in a news release Thursday, Oct. 1.
As assistant to the city manager, Carpenter will help support the city’s day-to-day operations and long-term priorities while working with city departments, community members, elected officials and other stakeholders. The position serves as a key support role within the city manager’s office, helping move projects forward, coordinate information and resources and ensure that organizational goals are effectively implemented.
A South Carolina native, Carpenter brings a background in facilitation, strategic planning, research, organizational development and community engagement to the city of Cayce. Most recently, Carpenter served as a facilitator and trainer with Iron Sharpens Iron Consulting in Chapin, where she designed and facilitated strategic planning sessions, board meetings and retreats for diverse stakeholder groups…
