COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Residents shared their concern about infrastructure changes that come with the University of South Carolina’s development for a new medical school.
The city held a work session meeting on Tuesday to discuss a plan to move power lines. The current plan is to have those power lines along Hardin Street consolidated, opposite of the new medical school building.
Residents of Booker Washington Heights shared their displeasure with the project at the work session. Vice President of Booker Washington Heights Neighborhood, J. Kevin Speaks, wants the city to look at other options…
