Two South Carolina Teens Ordered a Pizza and Sent It to an Abandoned Apartment. The Delivery Driver Was Robbed and Killed

When the victim arrived at the vacant home, the teens allegedly tried to rob him, then fatally shot him before running away

Two South Carolina teens were arrested this week after they reportedly ordered pizza to a vacant apartment unit then robbed and killed the 48-year-old driver .

Trevor Harris, 18, and his 17-year-old relative were each charged with murder, attempted armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime stemming from the November 2023 incident, the Columbia Police Department announced .

When the victim, Christopher Shirah, arrived at the abandoned home, the teens allegedly tried to rob him then fatally shot him before running away.

In the days after his death, Shirah’s loved ones and family shared memories of him on an obituary website.

“You taught me how to play the tambourine and gave me the confidence to play on my own,” one friend wrote. “I will keep on playing Brother. Love you and miss you always.”

Agents with the United States Marshals Service located the teens at a residence in West Columbia this week.

They’re now being held at Columbia’s Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
