S.C. nurse accused of smuggling marijuana stuffed in cracker boxes into detention center

COLUMBIA, S.C. – A nurse on contract with a South Carolina detention center has been accused of smuggling marijuana into the jail, according to WOLO. The nurse, identified as Jakiera Day, was arrested on Jan. 28 at Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center after she was caught bringing in marijuana that was stuffed inside cracker boxes through the center’s front door, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.
