Improving healthcare for mothers and babies in S.C.

In case you weren’t aware, our state has an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization lobbying to improve health and health care in South Carolina. And they have recently announced that they are launching a task force focused on maternal and infant care in the rural parts of our state, where there are actually 14 counties that do not have an obstetrician.
