SCDC charges 12 inmates in separate March cases

(WACH) — The South Carolina Department of Corrections Inspector General has released arrest warrants for 12 inmates in connection with separate cases that came up for bond hearings in March 2026.

Authorities charged Jonathon Coburn, 35, with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and possession of contraband in connection with the stabbing of a fellow inmate at Broad River Correctional Institution on Aug. 15.

Curtis T. Fowler, 42, and Bradon Lee A. Potter, 31, are charged with second-degree assault and battery by mob in connection with the stabbing and beating of an inmate at McCormick Correctional Institution on Dec. 3, officials said…
