Pedestrian killed on I-20, driver arrested on DUI charges

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) — A pedestrian was killed in a crash early Saturday on Interstate 20 in Richland County, and a driver has been arrested on multiple charges, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

William Gunter, 42, was arrested and charged with felony leaving the scene of a collision involving death, felony DUI, leaving the scene of a collision involving property damage, and simple possession of marijuana, troopers said.
