Memorial Day weekend traffic enforcement

The Lexington Police Department will increase traffic enforcement efforts throughout the Memorial Day weekend, according to Chief Terrence Green.

From Friday, May 22, through Monday, May 25, officers assigned to the department’s Traffic Unit, along with members of the Patrol Division, will conduct saturation patrols focused on traffic safety violations across the town.
