The owner of Country Road Buffet, at 2509 Airport Thruway in Columbus, has shared more details about the restaurant’s temporary closure and expansion.
Betty Torre said her restaurant’s customers had been requesting an expansion for about six months.
“The customers have been consistent, and I think we owe it to them to have [the restaurant space] a bit better,” Torres said. “Especially on Sundays, there was no space at all, and when we did fill up, everyone was elbow to elbow. There was no space for removing and cleaning. I think we owe it to the customers.”…
