COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Counseling Psychologist Dr. Charlotte Michelle Sanchez joined WRBL to provide information about generalized anxiety disorder.
Research suggests that roughly one out of 20 adults may experience generalized anxiety disorder. It’s one of the most common mental health disorders, and the focus of our mental health.
Although many people experience anxiety, Sanchez said that it becomes a disorder when anxiety becomes overwhelming.
