COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — A woman was found dead in her jail cell at the Muscogee County Jail on Friday, May 15, 2026, according to Sheriff Greg Countryman.
According to Countryman, 44-year-old, Kimberly Golden, was found unresponsive in her jail cell. Columbus Fire and EMS and the Coroner’s Office responded to the scene.
