COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)-A strong Bermuda high is settling in and keeping temperatures running near 90 degrees each afternoon with overnight lows only dropping into the upper 60s to near 70.
That summer-like heat combined with increasing moisture flowing in from the Bermuda high — along with a little weak energy off to our west — will help spark a few scattered pop-up showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours.
Not everyone will see rain, but a few neighborhoods could briefly hear thunder or catch a downpour before skies clear again…
