Woman found not guilty by reason of insanity after stabbing of Mount Carmel East hospital employee

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A woman was found not guilty by reason of insanity in connection with a stabbing of the Mount Carmel East hospital employee last fall.

Judge Karen Phipps gave the ruling on April 23 after the Franklin County Common Pleas Court determined 25-year-old Makaela Wilson “is a person with a mental illness subject to court order.”
