Ohio launches new dashboard tracking felony crime, sentencing trends

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio residents can now access a new online tool that tracks felony crime and sentencing trends statewide, according to Attorney General Dave Yost.

The Ohio Crime Statistics Dashboard, launched this week by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, provides public access to felony arrest and sentencing data from all 88 Ohio counties dating back ten years.

State officials said the dashboard is the first public-facing platform of its kind in Ohio and is intended to give residents, researchers, law enforcement agencies and court officials a better understanding of crime patterns and sentencing outcomes across the state…
