COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — One person was shot near Walden Park Saturday and taken to a children’s hospital.
According to Columbus police dispatchers, police responded to reports of a shooting shortly before noon Saturday at Walden Park in the Forest Park East neighborhood. Dispatchers confirmed a victim was transported to a nearby hospital.
Dispatchers did not share information on the victim’s condition or on any suspect information. Police on the scene said they were still investigating what happened, and also could not provide information on the victim’s condition or age. Police said there was no immediate danger to the public…
