COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Multiple vehicles involved in a crash on the west side of Columbus on Sunday left many people hospitalized and a major roadway closed.
Emergency personnel responded to Interstate 70 eastbound near Plain City at about 5:35 p.m. after a multiple-car crash, according to Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
Current traffic conditions
Several people were taken to area hospitals for treatment; sheriff’s office dispatchers said at least one person was in stable condition. The conditions of the other victims is not known.
According to ODOT, all I-70 East lanes past State Route 142/Plain City are closed, with lane closures expected on I-70 West past Hilliard-Rome Road. It’s not known when the roadway will reopen…
