White Castle will have a new slider on its menu starting June 15 as the Columbus-based chain says it is responding to customer demand for the menu refresh.

The chain announced this week it will roll out the Southwest Veggie Slider nationwide as a permanent menu fixture starting June 15 following customer feedback and research into nonmeat options. Prices start at $2.49,
“Our Cravers have been pretty vocal about wanting an alternative to traditional meat sliders that doesn’t compromise on flavor,” Jamie Richardson, chief marketing officer, said in a release. “That prompted our menu innovation team to prioritize finding a craveable alternative, and we believe the Southwest Veggie Slider delivers on that in a big way.”…
