COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Columbus police are investigating after shots were fired in the Short North early Sunday morning.
Gunfire erupted in the area of North High Street and East Fourth Avenue just after 1 a.m. Nobody was hit by the gunfire, but several cars and a building were struck, according to Sgt. James Fuqua with the Columbus Division of Police. Watch the latest NBC4 headlines in the video player above.
One dead after shooting in north Columbus on Saturday
Police detained a person of interest and recovered evidence from the scene, Fuqua said. The division has not yet released further details.
