Desi Tadka Indian Restaurant has reopened in Delaware after closing on April 28 of this year. The closure was due to a litany of health code violations, and the revocation of their food service license, including the presence of cockroaches in the dining room during an inspection. The restaurant, touted as the only Indian restaurant in Delaware, is located at 44 S. Sandusky St.

According to DPHD inspection reports, the repeated violations involved sanitation issues, employees’ lack of food safety knowledge, and the presence of cockroaches in the dining area.
