GROVE CITY, Ohio (WCMH) — Some residents in Grove City may have received a notice that AEP Energy will no longer supply their electricity, but there’s no need to panic.
The notice was sent by AEP Ohio to alert customers to a change beginning July 23 due to Grove City’s Electric Aggregation Program, which was approved by 63% of voters in 2020.

Grove City citizens seek voting amendments for data center construction
The city has chosen Dynegy as its electric supplier, who won a two-year agreement after it submitted the lowest cost bid. The aggregation rate is fixed at 10.97 cents per kWh through July 2028. A customer who uses 1,000 kWh of electricity per month will have a supply charge of about $110 (this does not include transmission, distribution or other fees)…
