Taco Bell temporarily pulls produce ingredients at some locations amid cyclosporiasis outbreak

WASHINGTON — Taco Bell is preemptively and voluntarily removing some produce items from their menu at select locations as the multi-state cyclosporiasis outbreak is investigated.

In recent days, local and national news outlets reported that signs popped up at some Detroit-area Taco Bell locations saying the restaurants would not be serving certain items because of “a national recall.”

Taco Bell confirmed on Tuesday in a statement to The Washington Post and Fox News that changes to its menu are temporary, precautionary and limited to just some restaurants…
