Winning Powerball ticket sold in Ohio, jackpot soars

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WJW) – There was a winning Powerball ticket sold in Ohio – but the jackpot is still rolling.

A Powerball ticket sold in Columbus won a $50,000 prize in the July 8 drawing, according to the Ohio Lottery.

The ticket matched four white balls — 12, 37, 43 and 55 — along with the Powerball, 18, to claim the $50,000 prize.

After state and federal tax withholdings totaling 26.75%, the winner will receive $36,625, lottery officials said…
