COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A Dayton couple says a Fourth of July weekend date night in Columbus’ Short North ended in a violent assault and robbery that left them with serious injuries and lingering trauma — and they are still waiting for arrests.
Itayetzy Padilla and her boyfriend, Perell Gordon, said they were walking along North High Street when they noticed a disturbance involving a group of women. Padilla said one of the women made eye contact and confronted her.
