The floor plan of an Ohio house of horrors, where 16 “feral” children were discovered living in squalor, has been made public.
Four members of the Siders family were taken into custody last month following the execution of a search warrant at the residence in Hamden. Upon entering the property, authorities found 16 children, ranging in age from 18 months to 18 years, allegedly confined to a 12-foot by 12-foot room.
The Ohio Attorney General’s Office alleged that the children were in a severe state of neglect, covered in insects and feces. Authorities described the Siders children as “feral” because of their limited communication skills.
