Dublin City Schools will turn to one of its own to lead the district into its next chapter. Dr. Jennifer Schwanke is now the district’s superintendent, effective August 1. Schwanke has spent nearly three decades in Dublin Schools, serving as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, and most recently deputy superintendent.
Her appointment follows the departure of Dr. John Marschhausen, who announced Tuesday that he was stepping away after five years as superintendent to pursue other opportunities.
